Susan Gehr has a BA in Women’s Studies with a thematic program in Native American Studies from UC Santa Cruz, an MA in Linguistics from the University of Oregon, and an MLIS from San Jose State University. Formerly a director for the Karuk Tribe’s Language Program, she published a dictionary of the Karuk language. She has taught computer basics courses for the Happy Camp Community Computer Center and NAS 392 Indigenous Identities in Film at Humboldt State University.
