Library DVD Collection

At the Eureka Campus library, DVDs are shelved next to the Fiction collection. DVDs are included in OneSearch. Use the Advanced Search in OneSearch and limit your search to CR Books and Videos to find DVDs on a wide range of subjects. DVDs can be borrowed for one week and have overdue fines of 25 cents per day.

DVDs can also be viewed in the library using the computers. You can use your own headphones or earbuds, or you can borrow a set of headphones from the Circulation Services Desk. Groups can view videos together by checking out a laptop. Ask for the laptop with the largest screen size, and request a group study room. You can also use laptops to view streaming videos as a group. The Del Norte Center library also has a DVD collection, and the same rules apply.

Remote Login Required

If you are off campus, or if you are using a wireless device while on campus, you may be prompted to login with your CR email address and password to get into the library's subscription databases or eBooks. Remote login is required to prove that you are a student at College of the Redwoods, because the library pays for student, faculty, and staff access for these resources based on our student enrollment. (Login is not required if you are using a computer connected to the main campus network.)
