E-books: Accessing and Using: Start Here

This guide shows you how to use each of the different kinds of E-books available at the CR Library

E-book collections

All E-books are included in the library's book catalog, see link below. A search in the book catalog will find print books, textbooks on reserve, E-books, videos on DVD or online.

CR Library has several different collections of E-books. The collections have some of the the same search features, allowing students to find E-books that meet their needs. However, each collection will have a different layout and appearance, with commands and features located in different areas on the screen. This guide shows you the basics of how to navigate the E-books for each collection, and how to read the books on or offline, on computers, laptops, or mobile devices, how to print, save, or email pages or chapters, and how to get citations. Below are links to the collections, if you want to dive in and try it out. Click the tabs above for specific instructions and tips on using each collection.

Citation Styles

Always ask your instructor what citation style should be used for research projects. See below for links to helpful resources.
