Tutoring and Academic Assistance

Writing Assistance: online and in-person!

The Academic Support Center has faculty tutors available to assist students with questions relating to writing assignments and projects including research papers, essays, citations, etc. Specialized writing assistance is available both on a drop-in basis and by appointment.  They can help you with formatting and proofreading, completing applications for scholarships, writing cover letters for jobs, writing essays for college applications, and much more.  

The faculty tutors for writing are available for one-on-one consultation through Zoom or in-person sessions.

Email Writing Assistance

Writing Assistance via Email:
Students with limited access to technology, or students who only want an "expert" review of their written work, may also submit papers in progress for feedback and writing help. 

Send your paper (as a Word* document) to, with the subject line Writing Assistance Review You must include the assignment and guidelines that your instructor gave to you.  Be sure to include your name and email address.  Please allow enough time! It is generally a good idea to allow at least a week turnaround for papers submitted via email.
