Tutors in blue are hired by Special Programs (CalWorks/EOPS/TRiO) and are available for drop-in sessions for all students! If you are apart of CalWorks/EOPS/ or TRiO, you can book an appointment ahead of time to reserve a tutoring slot.

There are 3 main types of tutoring services available for free to students at CR!
ASC (in-person/online) tutors are fellow CR peer tutors and CR instructors. Schedule or drop-in for in-person and online Zoom sessions. We will be able to provide you with math, science, English, and writing help!STAR-CA (online, NetTutor tab on Canvas) online tutoring provided by tutors from community colleges across California. When you sign on, you may get a College of the Redwoods tutor or you may get a College of the Sequoias tutor! Colleges part of this program share their tutors to offer extended tutoring hours and subjects. Find the tutoring schedule at: www.star-ca.org. NetTutor (online, NetTutor tab on Canvas) private online tutoring service. NetTutor is based in Florida and hires professional tutors.
