The major professional organization for early childhood educators is the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. Together with their California affilate, the California Association for the Education of Young Children (CAAEYC), they promote professional development opportunities, lobby for legislation relating to early childhood education, and provide resources for parents and childcare professionals.
CAAEYC maintains a jobs board which is available to members and non-members.
