Resources for students in biology and related subjects

Biology

Biology is the study of life and living organisms in all their diversity.  There are three main branches of biology - botany (plants), zoology (animals), and microbiology (all microscopic organisms) - and the tabs along the side of this guide organize the resources into those main areas, with additional tabs providing resources that are aimed at specific areas of study within the discipline.

While the study of biology provides an in-depth understanding of the natural world, it also helps students learn how to research, problem-solve, and understand the scientific method.
