George Florovsky (1893 - 1979)From Who's Who in Christianity
Florovsky was the son of a Russian Orthodox priest and was educated at the University of Odessa. After the Revolution, he left Russia and held academic positions in Sofia, Prague and Paris. After the Second World War, he moved to the United States of America, where he taught in New York, at Harvard and at Princeton.
