Citation Help: Britannica Online

Correctly citing your sources is critical to research project success. The guide provides students with support in learning APA and MLA styles.

Britannica Online: Collecting Citations

All Britannica Online articles include a row of icons across the top right of the article. Use the check mark icon, circled here in blue, to open a citation for that article. The default is for MLA format, but  APA, Harvard, and Chicago are also provided.

Printing will also include a citation, in the format selected at the top of page icon, along with your article. You can "print" to PDF, or save as PDF, and then email that PDF to yourself, to get both the full text of the article as well as the citation.

NOTE: The Email option (blue arrow icon) will only provide a link back to the article, and that link will not work from off campus or wireless computer. Also remember you can't use the link in the browser location field.
