CR Keep Teaching is a Canvas site that began in March 2020 to help all faculty transition their classes to emergency remote delivery due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. When we learned we'd be running our classes almost exclusively online for the Fall semester, we decided to leverage this existing site to support faculty in getting certified to teach online, as well as building and running high quality online classes. We're using Canvas to leverage our knowledge and creativity and share resources with each other.
Keep Teaching is a hub for professional development and support for our amazing college community. We're glad you're here.
…because apparently supervisors wear fashion-glasses with their hard hats J
We are not tracking your completion of the training (as we can in Keenen), but we will be offering a discussion session for you to attend and ask questions about the training. Specific date is TBA.
Finally, supervisors will allow staff time to complete this training during normal work hours. The week the power is out at the Eureka campus might be a great time!
Save the date of June 29, 2021 at 10 am for training on the Cal OSHA COVID-10 prevention plan. The COVID-19 prevention plan is being updated (and may need further revisions after the Governor's June 15 announcement). In this session, Steve McKenzie, Julia Morrison, and Phil Clark, Keenen's Senior Loss Control Consultant/Risk Management will discuss the new plan. This will be followed by a question and answer session regarding the required Cal OSHA COVID training.
In this training (date TBA), Human Resources will walk employees through the benefits afforded to them in the time of COVID-19. We will start with a discussion of the benefits, and then open the floor for questions and employee input.
